THE Flying Karamazov Brothers, now playing at off-Broadway's Minetta Lane Theatre (18 Minetta Lane, NYC), will be featured today, Monday, October 25th between 5:30-6:00 p.m. on WABC's "Eyewitness News," Channel 7 in the tri-state area. Reporter Jamie Roth goes behind-the-scenes at the Minetta Lane Theatre, puts on a giant tutu, performs an elaborate dance, walks through a gauntlet of juggling pins - and lives to tell. We smell a Pulitzer Prize for Journalism.

If you see one group of multi-faceted new-vaudevillians at the apex of their ambidextrous and alliterative ability, see The Flying Karamazov Brothers also. They are not your father's wild-haired, juggling, flame-throwing, kilt-and-tutu-wearing performers. Each night, the audience is invited to bring objects to the theater for the FKBs to keep airborne in a challenge that ends either with a pie in the face or a standing ovation. As director / founder/ performer Paul Magid says, "Juggling is dropping." Julia Roberts had to go all the way to India to learn the same thing; you need only take the train to West 4th Street.

The show suits all audiences: adults, students, students who watch Glee, tourists, theatergoers, theatre-avoiders, pseudo-intellectuals, Abe Vigoda, the friendless, geeks, hedge fund managers, hedge fund managers who are now Duane Reade assistant managers, kids (but only gifted ones with a solid background in the classics), disgraced religious leaders, Kardashians, and politicians. Pardoned? Incarcerated? They don't discriminate.

The FKBs recently became the first show to broadcast live interactive theatre when a portion of the show known as 'The Gamble" was live-streamed over the internet. Viewers can bet nightly on whether the FKBs will win the challenge of jugging objects brought in by the audience. Winners can earn points toward redemption of tickets, drinks, t-shirts, and in rare cases, souls.

"A triumph. As close to a sure thing as can be found onstage. 100 minutes of cleverness and comedy that go by in a flash." - The New York Times

"Get to the Minetta Lane Theatre and give your inner child 100 minutes of fast-paced fun. From the moment they go on stage...these four funny men get the audience laughing. A triumph of theatrical silliness." - Associated Press

"A treat for anyone with a funny bone!" - Time Out Kids

"Nobody leaves the theater without a big grin." - Variety
