Mark Brennan Rosenberg has penned his first book Blackouts & Breakdowns, a no holds bar look into the life of a 20 something very gay, very fabulous, very alcoholic, young man. Mark tells his hysterical tale by giving the reader 11 short stories ranging from kids pooping in cars to the lady who looks like Sex & the City's Bunny McDougal at an AA meeting.

Mark's use of metaphor and story telling leaves nothing to the reader's imagination. From the start you are in for the ride, after all the book is dedicated to All My Children's Erica Kane, famously played by Mark's idol Susan Lucci.

Not only is Mark's writing brutally honest and funny it also tells a message of hope for young people battling addiction. In the end Mark Brennan Rosenberg emerges from being a SHIT SHOW to being a true heartfelt hero for all people who have "come out of the dark" and into a life of sobriety and happiness.

The official book launch party will be held at the Snapple Theatre in the heart of Time's Square on May 19th at 6pm and will feature an incredible cast of Broadway performers reading excerpts from the book. Celebrity readers include so far Celina Carvajal, Shonn Wiley, Nick Blaemire, & Emily McNamara, all well known artist in the NYC Broadway community.

Blackouts & Breakdowns will be hitting NYC Barnes & Nobles stores this summer and can currently be found at www.blackoutandbreakdowns.com
