French mezzo-soprano Frances Devine will appear in the title role of Capitol Heights Lyric Opera's production of Rossini's "La Cenerentola." Commemorating the 1825 American Premiere in NYC by the Manuel Garcia Company, the production follows the New Critical Edition, with original orchestration and performance practices. Production features Frances Devine as Cinderella, Richard Cassell as Don Magnifico, Gregory Zavracky as Prince Ramiro, and Michael Ventura as Alidoro. Music director is Tristan Canot; conductor is Jeff Bradbury; music director is Bill Lewis.
