CURIOUSITIES Returns at New Off-Broadway Home
After a successful workshop run in August 2016, immersive performance company Deaths Head Theatrical will stage a remount of their hit show CURIOUSITIES. The production is scheduled to open December 8th, 2016 in a secret theatre district location. Deaths Head Theatrical had the following to say regarding the production:
1936. The country is slowly finding itself again following a Great Depression. Though once a ubiquitous (and illicit) distraction from life's hardships, the carnival sideshow has found itself dwindling in popularity. But not everybody can afford to forget the lives of those on the fringes... Professor Mysterium invites you back this winter to relive the wonder and spectacle of his curiosities, in an exclusive location in Manhattan.
The exclusive event will only welcome 75 patrons per night to the secret sideshow each performance. The production is set to run December 8th-18th with performances at 7pm and special late night shows at 10pm. Tickets range from $50-$75 for the immersive production. Audience members are encouraged to come in 1930's attire. Further details regarding your visit to the sideshow will be revealed in due course.
