COUGAR THE MUSICAL Updates Schedule of Performances

By:

With a new block of tickets on sale through March 3, the off-Broadway show, Cougar the Musical, has become this season's surprise musical hit. Created by Donna Moore with direction and choreography by Tony Award Nominee Lynne Taylor-Corbett. Cougar the Musical began performances on August 10 and opened on August 26, 2012 at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street), available through Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200. Cougar the Musical has updated its playing schedule and is now performing Friday at 8PM; Saturday at 2PM; Sunday at 2PM.

Cougar the Musical unleashes three divine but disillusioned women who develop a taste for hot, young men. They let their inner cougar roar and purr, finding self-love and empowerment in the process. The sexy, ferocious cast of three fabulous-over-forty women and one multi-talented boy toy sing and dance their way through a satiating range of original songs, from grinding blues, to doo-wop, to pop to "Julio," a romantic ballad, sung to a vibrator. Hilarious, soulful and sexy, Cougar the Musical is a madcap ride from Cougar Bar to nail salon to boudoir and back as the women learn to say "yes" to getting older, "yes" to trust and friendship and "yes" to proving that love is ageless.

The amazing cast includes: Danny Bernardy (Off Broadway: Every Girl Gets Her Man, Iphigenia Crash Land Falls), Brenda Braxton (Broadway: Smokey Joe's Cafe, Tony Nomination Chicago, Dream Girls, Jelly's Last Jam; Cats, Legs Diamond), Mary Mossberg (NY: Tomorrow Morning, Power Balladz National Tour: Mamma Mia!), Babs Winn (Off Broadway: Love is Where You Find It, The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, Take This Show and Shove I, Lola Victoria's Monday Marquee),

Creative team includes: Jana Zielonka (Musical Director), Josh Iacovelli (Set Designer, Sound Designer), and Dustin Cross (Costume Designer).

NEW BLOCK OF TICKETS ON SALE THROUGH MARCH 3, 2013. Playing Schedule: Friday at 8PM; Saturday at 2PM; Sunday at 2PM. Running time is 90 Minutes at St. Luke's Theatre is located 308 West 46th Street.
