An Evening at The Carlyle, the musical revue about the inhabitants of Bemelman's Bar in the Hotel Carlyle, will play its final Off-Broadway performance on Jan. 5, 2010.

Written by Al Tapper and directed by Tom Herman, An Evening at The Carlyle currently features Amanda Gabbard, Dennis Holland, Kelli Maguire, Michael McGuirk, Rachelle Rak and Jason Rowland.
Called 'the surprise hit of the summer' (UPI) the show will have played 90 performances at the Algonquin Theater. A cast album is in the works to raise its profile in a way that will help prompt a wider life in regional theatres.

Presented by Algonquin Theater Productions (Sessions, The Devil and Billy Markham), An Evening at The Carlyle features choreography by Rachelle Rak, musical direction by David Wolfson, set design by John McDermott, costume and wig design by Cathy Small and lighting design by Brant Murray.
