ALIEN CHILD Plays T. Schreiber Theatre 7/22-8/1

T. Schreiber Theatre presents a workshop production of Jim Shankman's Alien Child at the Gloria Maddox Theatre at T. Schreiber Studios (151 West 26th St., 7th Floor). Directed by Guil Parreiras, the production performs July 22 through August 1, 2010.

Alien Child is a touching and relevant look at a family dealing with a child's autism and the journey of Jonah, a 16-year-old young man, as he tries to find himself apart from his twin sister Charlie.

The cast features Kelly Haran* (Sarah), Ken Jansen (Jonah), Olivia Killingsworth* (Charlie), Michael W. Murray (Ben), Pat Patterson* (Ms. Ravitch), and Meghan Wilson (Sally). The production team includes Andy Cohen (sound design), Eric Cope (lighting design), Michael Denis (stage manager), Jennifer Hahn (assistant director) and Barbara Kielhofer (producer).

Performances are July 22 through 25, 2010, Thursday through Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm and July 29 through August 1, 2010, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm. Tickets to Alien Child are $5 cash at the door. To place a reservation, E-mail Barbara Kielhofer at theatre@tschreiber.org. The production is a workshop, and thus not open for reviews.

T. Schreiber Studio and Theatre (TSST) has been a creative community for actors since 1969. TSST is acknowledged as one of the foremost professional theatre studios in New York City.
