Dean is a failed screenwriter. Graham is a dot com millionaire who wants to produce movies. These former college friends reunite when Dean's Oscar-bait screenplay captures Graham's imagination. How much is Dean willing to compromise to get the picture made? A biting Hollywood satire that examines friendship, rivalry and ambition, SCREENPLAY traces the explosive journey of a film on its way to Oscar night.

The cast features Scott Brooks, Heather Dilly (Walk Two Moons at the Lortel Theatre), Diana DeLaCruz (Twelfth Night with National Black Theater) and Jonathan Sale (The Shape of Things, directed by Neil LeBute and Soldier's Play, directed by Jo Bonney).

Scott Brooks (playwright) is an award-winning playwright and filmmaker whose recent plays include Saving a Drowning Man (Barracuda Theatre Club), Bag Fulla Money (Harold Clurman Theatre), DupleX (MITF, 2007), American Interlude (Winner, Nantucket Short Play Festival; One Acts of Note, Desert Road Publishing, 2008), and Like a Springsteen Song (Badlands Theatre Company). Mr. Brooks is the winner of the 2010 Midtown InterNational Theatre Festival's "Outstanding Playwriting for a New Script" award for ScreenPlay. He was also nominated for "Outstanding Supporting Actor" for his portrayal of Graham.

Jenny Greeman (director) is a theatre artist and educator currently serving as the Resident Director of the Dark Lady Players and Artistic Associate at New Perspectives Theatre Company with whom she directs multiple projects. Additional directing credits include: As You Like It (Manhattan Theatre Source); Shakespeare's Three Marys (Manhattan Theatre Source); 365 Days/Plays (Theatre Under St. Marks); Jungle Cake Corporation (The Tank); and Blue Box Productions' Sticky Series (Bowery Poetry Club).
