EBE Ensemble will host a talkback with playwrights Erin Austin, Libby Emmons, Rebekah Lopata, Nicole Pandolfo, and Isaac Rathbone following the 3pm matinee of Elephants on Parade 2010 on Sunday, March 14th.

Elephants on Parade 2010 is the third-annual installment of EBE Ensemble's award winning festival of new one-act plays. Performances will begin on Tuesday, March 9, opening Wednesday, March 10 and running through March 20 at New York's Teatro IATI (64 E. 4th street, between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at www.SmartTix.com or call 212-868-4444. Entrance to the talkback on March 14 is free with the purchase of a ticket to the show.

Elephants on Parade 2010 features five world premieres and one New York area premiere that examine the peculiar difficulties of communication and connection in the 21st century: Erin Austin's "Buddha Nosh," Isaac Rathbone's "Nice Paper," Nicole Pandolfo's "Things to do in New Jersey," Libby Emmons' "Leaving Last Night," Rebekah Lopata's "What if I Don't," and Rhea MaCallum's "Selling Beaver."

Kelly Samara ("Being Patient") and Kate Dearing will be joining the company of the festival, replacing Scout Durwood. Dearing will perform in the 8pm performances on Thursday, March 11 and Saturday, March 20, with Samara appearing in all other performances.

EBE Ensemble (www.ebeensemble.com) is an ensemble based theater company, founded in 2006 by a group of NYU/Atlantic Theater Company graduates, dedicated to developing new works and new interpretations of classics through the structure of its Ensemble while empowering its members to take on unfamiliar roles within the not-for-profit and artistic realms. For playwrights, the ensemble is a unique living canvas through which they can create and further develop their work. Now in their third season, EBE Ensemble has produced seven fully staged productions and created the "You Fill in the Blank" play festival and competition in addition to the national one-act competition and festival, Elephants on Parade.

Two plays from last year's Elephants on Parade were nominated for Best New Short Play at the New York Innovative Theater Awards (www.nyitawards.com), Ira Gamerman's Dated: A Cautionary Tale for Facebook Users and Nico Vreeland's The Interview, which went on to win.
