Virginia Stage Company's 37th Season to Feature Premieres, Tony Winners

Virginia Stage Company (VSC) announces its 37th season; which includes two new plays and two Tony Award winning plays. This season is set to be a powerful line-up with a little something for everyone.
Season: The season opens with Peter and the Starcatcher, a Tony Award winning re-imagined story of Peter Pan that takes us on a rambunctious adventure through Neverland. Peter and the Starcatcher runs September 22 - October 11, 2015. Next on stage, is the Tony Award winning masterwork about family dynamics, courage and the struggle to survive during WWII, Arthur Miller's All My Sons, running October 27 - November 5, 2015. After the New Year, running January 19 - February 7, 2016, is the next addition to the Company's American Soil Series, The Hampton Years, written by Jacqueline E. Lawton. The American Soil series is plays produced by VSC, focused on bringing new plays with local relevance to Hampton Roads. The Hampton Years, is a true story of a Jewish WWII refugee mentoring students from Hampton University, whose passion, determination and talents introduced African American Art to the Nation. Running March 1-20, 2016 is the mesmerizing one-woman play about the shift in American warfare from the air to the chair as drones take over the battlefield. Grounded is a kinetic, provocative story of a fighter pilot's balance between life and war.Videos
