Overview:

The Philadelphia Story is a sparkling, sophisticated comedy of manners filled with romance, wit, and emotional surprises. On the eve of her wedding to the respectable and successful George Kittredge, Philadelphia socialite Tracy Lord appears to have every detail of her perfect life under control. But when her charming ex-husband, C.K. Dexter Haven, unexpectedly reappears alongside two tabloid reporters sent to cover the high-society event, the carefully arranged weekend begins to unravel.

As old wounds resurface and new attractions emerge, Tracy is forced to confront the image she has created for herself and the impossible standards she places on others. What begins as a society wedding becomes a whirlwind of mistaken intentions, sharp banter, champagne-fueled chaos, and heartfelt self-discovery.

Beloved for its unforgettable characters and razor-sharp dialogue, The Philadelphia Story remains one of the great American comedies – a timeless story about love, forgiveness, and learning to see each other clearly.
