Braata Productions’ Braata Singers is pleased to announce auditions for their Off Broadway concert season.
Background: The Braata Singers are expanding and we are seeking talented, dynamic, performers to join our ensemble whose mission is to showcase choral music from the Caribbean. The ensemble largely consists of persons of Caribbean descent but we are looking for singers of all backgrounds who have an appreciation for Caribbean culture and want to share in an ensemble experience. We perform Caribbean folk music (often in the Jamaican language), inspirational music, and Caribbean classics including reggae, soca & calypso.

Rehearsals: Begin April 1, 2026 and take place 3-10pm on weekdays and 12-7pm on weekends. 6 days per week.

All actors must be at least 18 years of age and will need to sing in Caribbean dialects. This is an ethnic-specific production. All actors must be a POC.
The ability to learn music by ear is strongly appreciated.
Seeking the following vocal parts:
Female, Soprano (Able to hit at least a C6)
Female, Alto (Able to hit at least a E5)
Male, Tenor (Able to hit at least a Bb)
Male, Bass (Able to hit at least a C2 - C4)
AUDITION DETAILS
Please prepare and record a 32-bar cut of a song in Musical Theatre style. The selection may be Pop, Contemporary, or Legit.
Your submission should be a video recording and must be sent to programs@braataproductions.org no later than Friday, April 3, 2026.
