- May 04, 2012 A mix of verbal jousting, slapstick and romance is set to bring MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING to The Court Theatre's Addington stage from May 19 to June 9. Lisa Chappell (McLeod's Daughters, The Cult) and Roy Snow (Go Girls, Shortland Street) star in one of Shakespeare's most-loved romantic comedies. A cast of 21 actors makes this production the largest staged at The Court's new theatre.

In addition, Nucking Futs continues this week with only five shows to go. Finally, nine shows will be presented as part of the 2012 NZ International Comedy Festival. Hummingbird Coffee Donates $10,000 to The Court Theatre by Harmony Wheeler
- February 21, 2012 Hummingbird Coffee has donated $10,000 to The Court Theatre through sales of a special coffee blend created especially as part of the Re:Start project. The boutique roaster, who constructed a cafe in the central city in late October, is selling the "Re:Start" blend through cafes and supermarkets throughout the country, with 30c from each pack sold donated towards The Court's fundraising efforts. To date, over 30,000 units have been sold nationwide.
