Titirangi Theatre's New Season To Begin 19 September With THE BELLBIRD

Titirangi Theatre's upcoming season begins with Stephen Sinclair's The Bellbird. The Janelle Bish-directed show runs from 19-26 September. Bellbird is put on in association with Going West Books and Writers Festival.

This is New Zealand theatre at its most exciting and challenging. Inspired by letters discovered by Stephen Sinclair at the National Archives, The Bellbird captures the challenging cultural climate of early New Zealand settler times, with a story of inter-racial romance and the resulting exile from both Maori and Pakeha society.
