Tennessee Williams Literary Festival Holds First Poetry Contest, Deadline 8/15

We are thrilled to announce our first annual Poetry Contest, which will be judged by Louisiana Poet Laureate Darrell Bourque and carries a grand prize of $1,000 as well as other accolades.

We are now taking submissions! Enter by submitting 2-4 original, unpublished poems of any style or theme, with a combined length of up to 400 lines for a chance to win top honors.

Grand Prize:

VIP All Access Pass ($500 value) for the "CenTENNial" Festival"-the 25th anniversary Festival and the 100th birthday celebration of Tennessee Williams: March 23-27, 2011
Public reading at the 2011 Festival
Publication in Louisiana Cultural Vistas magazine
Deadline: August 15, 2010 (postmark)
