The Grace Theatre Workshop, Inc. presents "Busco Amigo" by Lucio Fernandez from tonight, June 26 to Sunday, June 30, 2013 at The Producers' Club, 358 West 44th Street (corner of 9th Avenue & 44th Street) in New York City. The bilingual play is directed by Lucio Fernandez and Peter DuBo, with choreography by Megan Fernandez who also serves as Assistant Director. It stars Lucio Fernandez, Megan Fernandez, Fernando Contreras, and Amy Smith.
"Busco Amigo" is the tale of a man in search of a friend within the confines of the loneliness found in city living. In this avant-garde theater piece, the story is told through dialogue, pantomime, dance, and music. This is a tale of dreams missed, and hopes lost. It is about an individual's search for a sense of belonging in a world seemingly gray and cold.
Busco Amigo by Lucio Fernandez is directed by Lucio Fernandez & Peter DuBo and choreographed by Megan Fernandez. The show stars Lucio Fernandez, Megan Fernandez, Fernando Contreras and Amy Smith.
