The Sold Out Show RED Returns In April
![]()
Known for illustrated sermons and theatrical productions, Born Again Church and Living Parables Drama Ministry will present RED: The Hunt for a Killer and a King starring Gospel Artist Angela Primm and 92Q's Crystal J from the Joy In The Morning Show, April 6 - April 8.
RED is a colorful journey through the life of a young maiden who lives in the woods and falls for a mysteriously charming stranger by the name of Thurston Howl, III. As Thurston searches for answers to a dark family secret, Red becomes his connection to the facts. However, he is the connection to the truth.
Written and directed by Bishop Horace Hockett, pastor of Born Again Church, RED examines the ups and downs of reality. "Our drama ministry is proud to present an artistic experience that the audience will not forget," shared Bishop Hockett. "No matter if someone is seeking revenge, has been hurt by love and afraid to love again, or simply longs to be accepted. RED overflows with multi-faceted entertainment, reflection, and inspiration."
The production was first performed in 2017 for sold out crowds that totaled 2,500 attendees. This year, audiences can look forward to the thrilling plot with the help of new actors, music, and sets.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Purchases can be made online at
www.livingparables.net or in person at Born Again Church, 858 W. Trinity Lane, Nashville, TN 37207, (615)228-9287. Living Parables Drama Ministry is a pillar of Born Again Church that creatively unites entertainment and evangelism through the arts.
