Street Theatre Company brings Nashville the premiere of the new musical BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON as its second production of the 2014 season. After opening in LA in 2008, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON transferred to Off-Broadway and Broadway winning the Outer Critics Circle Award in 2010 for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical.

The show is a comedic Wild West rock musical about the founding of the Democratic Party. It redefines Andrew Jackson, America's seventh President, as an Emo rock star and focuses on populism, the Indian Removal Act, and his relationship with his wife Rachel. "[E]ntertaining and perceptive," (The New York Times) this funny and witty new musical will be sure to bring out the history buff in everyone. The cast features Geoff Davin as Andrew Jackson, Savannah Garnick as Rachel, as well as a cast of over fifteen talented area actors with direction by Jason Tucker and musical direction by Rollie Mains. This production is rated R due adult content and explicit language.
