Street Theatre Company To Hold 2nd Annual 'It's Vegas Baby!' Benefit 8/13

East Nashville's Limelight will be transformed with some Vegas-style magic on Thursday, August 13, as Street Theatre Company hosts its second annual fundraiser, It's Vegas, Baby!

According to artistic director Cathy Sanborn Street, the event will include "complimentary wine, fine hors d'oeuvres and stellar performances featuring STC company members, as well as a special presentation by Playing by Air, a Vegas-style juggling and variety entertainment company, Stardust Como, and some suprises."

Tickets are $25 for general admission, and $50 VIP tickets include a private pre-show champagne reception and "a private performance by a surprise visitor."

Also include in the night's festivities will be a silent acution, with items including dance lessons, a Climb Nashville gift certificate, Pet Portrait, genuine Tano purse "and much, much more," Street said. "Be ready to bid! An additional highlight will be a raffle for an Altra Salon haircut, which will be performed that very night onstage."

Upon arrival, Street explained, guests will be given "money" with which to gamble the night away, and prizes will be awarded to those with the most money at the end of the night.

"Your attendance will support STC and allow us to continue our mission to foster professional, affordable and accessible theatre, music and arts education in Nashville by producing the highest quality performances and educational workshops, and providing artistic opportunities for young people," she said.
