Nashville Opera's dynamic and affable Education Director Stuart Holt will serve as Master of Ceremonies for The Children's Spring Fantasy Fashion Show. The event features the Coco Bonbon's clothing line from Jeanne's Fantasia modeled by more than 20 children, and Blush Boutique will present several of the newest adult fashions. In addition, Nashville Opera's Mary Ragland Young Artist Program members will offer scenes from The Three Little Pigs, an operatic adaptation of the classic fairy tale set to the music of Mozart. Performers include mezzo-soprano Stephanie Foley-Davis, baritone Joshua Zink, bass-baritone Aaron Grant, tenor Michael Foreman, and pianist/music director Emily Senturia.

Nashville Opera Guild Children's Spring Fantasy Fashion Show co-chairs Susan Creagh and Patsy Weigel added a special silent auction preview party for 2010, The Prelude. The soiree, which includes hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and music, will be held at the home of Mary Leland and Mark Wehner at 31 Erwin Court on Wednesday, March 3 from 6 to 8 pm. Tickets can be purchased through Nashville Opera and are priced at $30 per person. The Nashville Opera will perform a small selection of popular arias in this intimate setting. Proceeds from both fundraising events benefit Nashville Opera's expanding educational outreach initiatives, including the Mary Ragland Young Artist Program and HCA/TriStar Nashville Opera On Tour which brings opera performance to thousands of students each year.
