(08/04/2015) - Arnold Scaasi, Canadian fashion designer who created ensembles for the rich and famous, died today, August 4, 2015. He was 85. Scaasi crafted one of his most recognized, and perhaps infamous, outfits for stage and screen star Barbra Streisand. She wore it to the 1969 Academy Awards, where she won the Oscar for her performance in the film FUNNY GIRL.

After a start with the RSC, Stewart went on to appear in West End productions of Antony and Cleopatra, Macbeth, Hamlet and many more.

(02/28/2015) - There was a seismic event and emotional roller coaster onstage Thursday night at the 92nd Street Y, in the Kaufmann Concert Hall theatre. Her name is DEBBIE ..... DEBORAH VOIT. It was the first performance in New York City of a piece called VOIGT LESSONS. The piece was co-created by Voight, Terrence McNally and Francesca Zambello, years ago, at Glimmerglass and the diva told us that it has been performed 'very few times, let alone in New York City.' The crowd proceeded to go crazy. The piece- so simple, yet brilliantly calibrated.

The two were introduced by a friend of Rosen's, who wasn't able to make the wedding, as a result of the weather and warnings throughout all the boroughs. The BroadwayWorld.com News Desk stayed feverish all weekend while the couple said 'I Do', as news was coming fast about theatre cancellations, schedule changes and travel advisories in addition to all things that were happening in other parts of the country and the world, not affected by the Northeast's local weather.

In December 2010, Quidam embarked on a new journey, performing the same captivating production, but now in arenas throughout North America and Canada.The international cast features 52 world-class acrobats, musicians, singers and characters. (08/12/2009) - Cirque du Soleil performers from KÀ, Mystère and CRISS ANGEL Believe welcomed the newest members of the Cirque family to Las Vegas on Saturday. The cast of the new show based on the life and music of Elvis were treated to a Cirque-style greeting at McCarran Airport. The performers have been rehearsing for the past few months at the Cirque du Soleil Creation Studio in Montreal and are now relocating to Las Vegas for rehearsals on stage in the new theatre at ARIA Resort & Casino in CityCenter. The show is set to open late 2009.
