Germantown Community Theatre's next Season 52 Show THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME will open April 12th with our traditional champagne reception! Make your plans to see this one of a kind combination of storytelling and spectacle adapted from Mark Haddon's award winning novel.
Christopher records facts in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered a neighborhood dog. He has an extraordinary brain and is exceptional at maths, while everyday life presents some barriers. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. When he falls under suspicion it takes him on a journey that upturns his world.

Sensory Friendly Performances are provided for every Season Show on the second Sunday matinee of the run. On this day you can expect the same production with small adjustments like house lights staying on a low setting, any flashing, loud or jarring effects would be muted or removed to meet the sensory needs of some audience members. GCT also welcomes an ASL Interpreter for the Deaf to sign during these performances and all seats are only $10 making the show accesible to all who would want to enjoy.
Sensory Friendly Performances are part of GCT's Full Spectrum Theatre Initiative which also presents inclusive theatre workshops that harness the imaginations of teen and adult neurodivergent members of the community through the healing expression of theatrical play! Learn more about this programming and sign up to particpate or volunteer for our next workshop starting in May at www.gctcomeplay.org/full-spectrum/
