The script, adapted from the original Bram Stoker novel, was dramatized by Hamilton Dean and John L. Balderston was originally performed in the 1920s. It enjoyed a successful revival on Broadway in the 1970s with Frank Langella as the mysterious Count.The story begins after Mina’s death from a mysterious illness. Now Lucy is suffering the same symptoms. In desperation, Dr. Seward contacts his longtime friend Abraham Van Helsing for advice on the case.
