A sensational lineup of children's theatre productions are set for the Ogunquit Playhouse stage. The Children's Theatre series is produced by The Playhouse Junior Players Camp students showcasing their talents, while entertaining thousands of their peers. This year's productions take place on four weekends throughout the summer beginning July 3rd.

On Saturday, July 3rd and Sunday July 4th the Ogunquit Playhouse will present Disney's 101 Dalmatians, Kids. In a loving home in the city of London, Dalmatian parents, Pongo and Perdita happily raise their Dalmatian puppies, until the monstrous Cruella De Vil plots to steal them for her new fur coat! Join all the dogs of London, as they daringly rescue the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen. With a delightfully fun score, lovable characters, and one of the most deliciously evil villains in the Disney canon, this stage adaptation is certain to charm all audiences.

The ever-popular Fairy Houses: The Musical, returns to The Playhouse stage with an all new script and musical score Saturday, July 10th and Sunday, July 11th. Based on the bestselling children's book, "Fairy Houses" by author Tracy Kane, this enchanting musical production reveals how nature inspires children's imaginations and captures their hearts; encouraging them to go outside to cherish and respect wildlife and their habitats...and to create their own fairy houses. It is held in collaboration with a special Fairy Houses weekend, featuring Fairy House Village tours, face painting, animal tracking and other activities on the grounds all weekend long. Visitors to The Playhouse stroll through the woods to enjoy the many "Fairy Houses" built by local floral designers and artisans and are encouraged to build their own Fairy Houses along the path. Join The Playhouse for a weekend full of enchantment!

Saturday, August 7th and Sunday, August 8th the Ogunquit Playhouse Junior Players will present Jack and the Beanstalk. Set in medieval England, this outrageous musical comedy turns a childhood favorite on its head as our boy Jack climbs the fabled beanstalk, only to find a friendly, lovable Giant and a tap-dancing Golden Goose. Along the way, he encounters his long-lost father (a victim of - what else - amnesia) and a villainous Baron. Fresh, wacky and unexpected, Jack and the Beanstalk is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages!

The Children's Theatre productions conclude with Disney's My Son Pinocchio on Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th. The classic tale of an aging toymaker and his puppet, Pinocchio, takes on timely issues in Disney's My Son Pinocchio. Grammy Award-winner and master melodist Stephen Schwartz adds a compelling score of original songs to the beloved classics "When You Wish Upon a Star" and "I've Got No Strings." Join the Blue Fairy, Stromboli and a lively cast of characters as Geppetto journeys beyond the Toy Shop to discover what makes the "perfect child."

All shows will take place Saturdays at 10AM and Noon and Sundays at 10AM. All tickets are $10. Fairy House Tours are $8 and combo tickets for the show and tour are $16.
