Registration has begun for the 2011 Children's Drama Camp at The Hackmatack Playhouse, Route 9 in Berwick, Maine. According Katie Rodgers, director of the program, "The opportunity to spend our summers with these children at Hackmatack is a gift. We are fortunate to have a program that is a valued part of the Hackmatack community. Because of this, we can watch our campers (some over the course of many years) develop long lasting friendships, a love for the stage, and the self-confidence that comes with being part of a community, working together to create art." This is Rodgers' 8th summer working with the Hackmatack Children's Drama Camp, and third year as director.

Hackmatack Playhouse producers and all involved with the Children's Drama Camp would especially like to thank the people from Measured Progress, a 5013C company in Dover for their support of Hackmatack's efforts offering the Drama Camp program to the youth of the area.

Camp runs from June 27th through August 13th, Monday through Friday, 9:00am - Noon. The children will be presenting a beautiful musical version of "Charlotte's Web."

Registration for Children's Camp is limited to 30 children, ages 7 to 13. No experience is necessary. Call Hackmatack Playhouse at 207-698-1807 or email HackPlayhouse@aol.com. More information is also available on-line at www.Hackmatack.org.
