The programs have names with numbers in Gauthier Dance brought happiness. Since the launch of SIX PACK 2008 it went as steadily as steeply upward for the House Theatre Company. With five exciting pieces international star choreographers and two new works by company CEO Eric Gauthier Lucky Seven is continuing the established series of numbers. Their stylistic diversity impressed, as is the name on the cast list.
Mauro Bigonzetti, one of the most important contemporary choreographers, controls a world premiere at, Hans van Manen, a duo that wrote when it premiered at the NDT three ballet history: The Old Man and Me one like classic status enjoy Jirí Kylián Six Dances by Mozart KV571, a pastoral piece Rococo four pairs, with the razor sharp flashes the whole abyss of "Dangerous Liaisons". On one turn, references the avant-garde Klassikerin Lightfoot / León's Shutters Shut, a game with the rhythms and cycles of language to the voice of Gertrude Stein, which recites one of her poems. Sensual, formed with a touch of eccentricity, Alejandro Cerrudo, the choreographic shooting star of the Hubbard Street Dance Company in Chicago, Lickety-split in the encounter between three couples. To a very special relationship, finally, it is also to Eric Gauthier. The German dance award winner "The Future" explores its world premiere in 2011 Punk Love the secret connection between passion and pain.
