Hollywood Bowl Announces 2012 Season Updates
The Hollywood Bowl has announced their 2012 season schedule updates.

THE MiLes Davis STAMP WEST COAST ISSUE AT HOLLYWOOD BOWL
The newly announced MiLes Davis stamp’s West Coast issue will be honored during the 2012 Hollywood Bowl opening concert for the jazz series, A Celebration of MiLes Davis, on Wednesday, June 27. The stamp will be issued as a Forever stamp in June and is a joint issuance with the French postal service, La Poste. Art director Greg Breeding designed the stamp using a black-and-white photo of Davis, from 1970, by David Gahr.
Dee Dee Bridgewater
Dee Dee Bridgewater has just been added as a special guest vocalist on the Ray Charles: Genius + Soul = Jazz, on July 11. Bridgewater is a multiple Grammy-award winner and leading jazz singer with a global audience.
EDDIE PALMIERI SALSA ORCHESTRA
Eddie Palmieri Salsa Orchestra joins Rubén Blades for the Latin jazz concert on Wednesday, August 15 that is part of the Americas and Americans festival as well as the Bowl jazz series. Palmieri, known for his charismatic power and bold pioneering drive, has a musical career that spans over 50 years as a bandleader of both salsa and Latin jazz orchestras.
