Diahann Carroll Takes One-Woman Show to Annenberg; Concert to Be Filmed for PBS Broadcast

Tony Award-winner Diahann Carroll will bring her acclaimed one-woman 'The Lady..The Music..The Legend' show to the Annenberg Theater for one night only on April 21, 2010. The concert will be filmed and broadcast on PBS premiering in August 2010.

Diahann Carroll has received a Tony and a Golden Globe award and has been nominated for an Emmy, a Grammy, and received a Best Actress Oscar nomination.  She is best known for her title role in the 1968 television series Julia and for co-starring in the TV series Dynasty.

Carroll's special appearance at the Annenberg Theater will showcase her incredible vocal talents in her show The Lady..The Music..The Legend.  The New York Times wrote that in her show the "...opening number erupts out of her like an emotional volcano and from here on, the lava never stops flowing....Diahann Carroll is historic. Experience her while you can."

Tickets for 'The Lady..The Music..The Legend' are $100 (which includes a post-concert party) and $50 (performance only) and can be purchased at the theater's Box Office at 760 325 4490. This evening is a benefit for the Annenberg Theater.
