Mariana, an internationally renowned scientist, is nearing the end of her life. To her home she invites her long-time research partner, who is about to become rich from the development of a drug to which she claims the rights, as well as her two daughters and son-in-law, for a final meeting. All arrive at the house at the pre-arranged time, on the train from Binyamina, and Mariana stages an event for them that they will never forget.
