Tuesday 5th March 8pm.
Screening of "Barbara" in Tuar Ard, Moate.

Synopsis: An elegant drama based on human and political dilemmas. Captures the weird oppression of 1980 East Germany.

Dir: Christian Petzold. Language: German. Runtime: 105 mins. All Welcome. Adm. €5.

The Fureys & Davey Arthur will make their first appearance for one night only in Tuar Ard, Moate, Sunday 10th March 8.30pm. Tickets €25.

Legends of Irish music and song, the Fureys & Davey Arthur have thrilled audiences around the world with their music, songs and stories for more than 35 years. Hit songs such as " I will love you", "When you were sweet 16", "from Clare to here", "Steal away", "Red Rose Café" and many many more. Don't miss their concert, their first in Tuar Ard, accompanied by well-known local musician, Camillus Hiney who plays with the renowned Brosna Comhaltas Group, when you can hear them sing many of their greatest hits. They are responsible for some of the most stirring music ever to capture the public imagination. Their emotive songs stir many emotions, tears and laughter, sadness and joy. A Fureys Concert is guaranteed to be "a night to remember".
