MTI Will Make Keyboard Programming Available to Customers with KeyboardTEK

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) announced a partnership with resource developer KeyboardTEK that will make their entire state-of-the-art keyboard programming available to MTI customers.

KeyboardTEK offers the world's largest and most complete catalog of MainStage® programming giving any school, community group, or theater access to hard-to-replicate sounds, instruments, and patches that are crucial to the orchestration. Easy-to-use and playable for pit musicians of all levels, in many cases KeyboardTEK offers the programming from the original productions for keyboards, drums, and percussion all in one easy-to-download software package right from their website. Launching with over 120 MTI titles, KeyboardTEK will elevate orchestras or pit bands to the fullest by using only the most authentic and original sounds.

Kevin Roland, Co-founder and CEO of KeyboardTEK, says, "Our authentic programming is a game changer for theaters of all types by making many of the original sounds and patches available to anyone at a reasonable cost. We have partnered with Broadway and West End programmers, orchestrators, and composers across dozens of shows to ensure that their vision for the music is realized in our products and that they are accessible to everyone. Along with my co-founders Taylor Williams, Ethan Deppe, and our many industry partners, we have built a company that will grow with the technology demands of the future by providing every customer with only the most authentic sounds in an enjoyable and easy to use interface."

"We are thrilled to offer this incredibly valuable new resource to our customers," stated John Prignano, MTI's Chief Operating Officer and Director of Education & Development. "For many of our customers who perform their shows using the full orchestration, KeyboardTEK will take them to the next level! Now high schools and community theatres have access to the authentic sounds they're used to hearing on cast recordings and Broadway original productions. We know that performers and audience members alike will appreciate these professional quality enhancements."
