Theatre at the Center's 2010- 2011 Theatre For Young Audiences Season kicks off with the fairy tale adventure of Jack and the Beanstalk. Join Jack and his dancing Spanish cow Carmelita Thursday, October 7 through Saturday, October 9 as they try to save their village from a crazy Giant in the musical version of the classic story. Theatre at the Center's Theatre for Young Audiences is located at 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana.

Jack's crazy adventure starts with five magic beans. Audiences will follow him up the magical beanstalk- that really grows on stage- and with him, meet the goose that lays golden eggs, a beautiful singing harp, a silly giant, and his wacky wife. This musical version of the beloved story features five original songs, including two sing-along songs with Jack and Carmelita. Don't worry, there's nothing scary in this musical adaptation. Audiences can expect lots of fun for everyone and a lot of audience participation.

Also, groups are invited to participate in the Jack and the Beanstalk coloring contest. First prize is a 4 person pass to Fair Oaks Farms. A special lunch package will also be available on October 7th and 8th for an additional $4 per person. The lunch will include an all-beef hot dog, potato chips, fruit roll up, cookies and an orange drink.
