Stu:
(50s or older) The boss at an architecture firm (though not the owner). Tough talking, blustery, and sexist with enough warmth to make him appealing and funny.
Eliza:
(late 20s) Smart, ambitious, and only wants the opportunity to work and learn, but frustrated. She can become quite tough and abrasive. Language skills a must. Funny and attractive but a bit bookish, with real edge under an appealing exterior.
Janice:
(40s) She's been at this firm for a long time, and has learned to not make waves. She knows how to play with the boys, and also be non-threatening to them. Not too bright, but clever in terms of office politics, and ready to sell out anyone, if it means her own advancement
