NYC actors are encouraged to audition.
Please prepare 16-bars of an R&B, pop, or rock song that centers on strong storytelling while also showcasing your vocal ability. Please, no musical theatre selections. Bring sheet music, as an accompanist will be provided. Please also bring your headshot and résumé stapled together.

ENSEMBLE W1: [Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Female-identifying. Versatile singing voice, able to blend, must have belt or strong mix up to C/D] The enigmatic, golden voice of the radio in WARRIORS. She narrates gang movements, delivers updates, and heightens tension on the chase. Charismatic with extremely strong R&B chops and the ability to sing and speak in Jamaican patois.
ENSEMBLE W2: [Early 20s – early 30s. Any ethnicity. Female-identifying Strong chest-voice belt up to C who can blend with other voices, Strong R&B singer.] As a member of the Hurricanes, this character has the ability to read the Warriors with style, energy and charm.
ENSEMBLE M1: [Early 20s – early 30s. White. Male-identifying. Very high tenor, able to sing cleanly and with grit, full-voice to a Bb] High tenor with a great sense of comic timing to pursue the Warriors as a member of the Rogues.
ENSEMBLE M2: [Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Male-identifying. Effortless high vocal range, virtually no break, pop and R&B stylings, able to belt to a high Bb and riff in head voice. Spanish a Plus.] Could easily be a member of Boyz II Men. A versatile singer with R&B falsetto who also has the ability to sing and speak in Spanish, and, as a member of the Hurricanes, read the Warriors with style, energy and charm.
ENSEMBLE M3: [Early 20s – early 30s. Person of color. Male-identifying. Tenor range, comfortable up to a full-voice A, must have pop sound and R&B stylings, and ability to blend.] Can easily transition between being a whiny, Blink 182 wailer and an irresistible boy band crooner.
ENSEMBLE M4: [Early 20s – early 30s. Korean. Male-identifying. Tenor range, comfortable up to a full-voice G, pop-singing sound AND strong expressive rapper] Embodies the sleek, stylish energy of a modern K-Pop heartthrob. Has the ability to rap and speak in Korean with a strong, versatile voice capable of executing both intense rap sequences and melodic passages with ease. Able to effortlessly shape-shift into the punk-pop stylings of emo rock.
ENSEMBLE M5: [Late 30s – late 40s. Person of color. Male-identifying. Rapper. High, dramatic tenor voice - must have Latin ‘sonero’ style sound, able to sing with power to a Bb and strong, clear falsetto.] Portrays a veteran gang member, hardened by street life as well as a policeman on the hunt for the Warriors. Exudes authority, charisma, and rhythm. An extremely skilled singer and rapper, with a strong, versatile voice capable of executing both intense rap sequences and melodic passages with ease. Has the ability to sing and speak in Spanish.
ENSEMBLE M6: [Early 20s – early 30s. Any ethnicity. Male-identifying. Baritenor range, up to F, with R&B stylings and ability to seamlessly blend.] Boy-band charm combined with street-smart swagger. Smooth, polished, and effortlessly likable, yet capable of intensity and strong stage presence. Has the ability to sing and speak in Spanish.
