Gerda:
20ish (or reads that age.) Our intrepid heroine. Escapes robbers, fords a river and battles guardian snowflakes to rescue her best friend Kai from the Snow Queen. Actress should move well and inventively, be comfortable singing, and be able to play in a classical style (i.e., not read like a contemporary teen) without being sappy or twee about it.
