Leading male role. Early 70s; still a vibrant looking guy; should seem roughly of Irish descent; working class attitudes and behavior, very likeable with a terrific sense of humor; deep sense of loyalty and love of family, but with a dark edge.

Peg Concannon:

Leading female role, Gunner’s wife, mid-late 60s, energetic, good looking, she is game and good spirited, her ethics are based on a sincere religious belief.
