BREAKDOWN

Seeking:

Dominique Francon - Character is age 25. Newspaper columnist, cold, proud, beautiful, scornfully serene. Has a fragile appearance, indomitable will, and a fiercely passionate nature.

Howard Roark - Character is age 28. Architect. Tall, strong, calm, implacable face. Quiet, direct, unflinching. Heroic without any obvious gesture. Tremendous spiritual force.

Ellsworth Toohey - Character is 40. Newspaper columnist. Frail but always faultlessly dressed. A pernicious smartness. Seems to be charming and witty, but underneath cold, calculating and evil.

Peter Keathing - Character is age 30. Architect, handsome in a typical way. Has a classic charm but is overfriendly and insincere.

Henry Cameron - Character is age 70. A great and tragic figure of ferocious strength and bitterness.
