Seeking 12 Classically trained actors for our 41st national tour
Both Plays will be performed and tour in Repertory
[Claudius]: King of Denmark: Male, early 30-mid 40s; possess Machiavellian dominance and lust, Handsome and charming.
[Gertrude]: Queen of Denmark: Female, early 30s-mid 40s; beautiful, lustful, remorseful and daring.
[Polonius]: Male, 30-40s; Over-protective, fatuous, ready to take charge.
[Horatio]: Male, 20s. Faithful, genuine, warm. Hamlet’s best friend.
[Laertes]: Male, 20s. Physical, hungry for power; full of genuine charm.
[Ophelia]: Female, 20s. Devoted, fragile and can sing
[Rosencrantz and Guildenstern]: both in their 20s; clowns, funny, tragic, carefree, both physically and verbally dexterous.
[The Player King]: 20s-30s, male. Strong language skills, great gravitas and wisdom.
[Tragedians]: traveling actors both male and female; 20s-30s that are athletic, great comedic ability and can sing.
