'Sunday on the Rocks' follows four women in their intimate lives, illustrating the emotional and physical trauma of domestic violence and why women can no longer stay quiet about it. Our objective is to raise awareness and give a universal voice to the victims of domestic violence through the theater. This play urgently recognizes the commitment women must take to speak out for their survival and halt the spreading of violence across the globe.
Seeking:
Jen:
(29) A likeable flirt. She is not ashamed of her number of conquests. Casual and desirable, she can sometimes be blunt and completely oblivious. She works as a paralegal.
Jessica:
(30) A religious and sometimes self-righteous woman. Though she has good intentions, she rubs her housemates the wrong way. She is over-bearing, iron-willed and makes herself the 'mom' of the household. She is calm and cool and, seemingly, has it all together. You pretty much love to hate her.
Gayle:
(34) A social worker with a dry wit. She is perceptive, a little timid at times and something of a peacemaker. Very centered and down to earth
The role of Elly has been CAST.
