Seeking the following roles:
She:
40-45 years old; any ethnicity. SHE is a professional stage actor; a leading lady whose time as a romantic lead is waning. Returning to the business after a hiatus for motherhood, SHE finds herself swept away by rekindled passions with an ex-lover. Actor must also be able to handle language and style of 1930s melodrama. Actor should have sex appeal, passion, emotional vulnerability, quirky charm, and supreme comic abilities. We need to fall in love with her.
He:
Early to mid 40s; any ethnicity. HE is a professional stage actor; a leading man who is very attractive and very good at what he does. He’s a cad; the actor that all of the other actors fall for and end up sleeping with. He was a playboy in his day, and doesn’t seem to have grown out of it. A bad boy. We need an actor that can be sexy, passionate, charming, funny, witty and ironic. Actor must also be able to handle language and style of 1930s melodrama.
Harrison/Husband:
40-55 years old; any ethnicity. Works in finance, is responsible, stable and secure. He should be charming and attractive in a safe way. The kind of man you want to settle down with.
Millicent/Laurie:
Late 20s to mid 30s; all ethnicity. For Millicent; actor must also be able to handle language and style of 1930s melodrama. For Laurie; she is attractive but square. She is from Iowa and is genuinely irritating. Laurie is an elementary school teacher whose niceness is a glaze that covers deep passive aggressiveness. We are looking for great comic character actors.
Angela/Maid:
18 to mid 20s; all ethnicities. We are looking for an actress that can play a teenager. Angela is SHE’s daughter; a very smart, dry, no nonsense teenager. She tells it like it is. For Maid; actor must also be able to handle language and style of 1930s melodrama. We are looking for great comic character actors.
