Or you may call (732/455-3059 ext. 5#) only if you do not have access to email. Equity Members without appointments will be seen throughout the audition day, as time permits.

Please prepare Two (2) 16-32 bar cuts of contrasting rock songs. (ex. Bon Jovi not Britney)

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.

Note: There will be appointment auditions in NYC on March 23 and 24. See separate notice.

Seeking (all roles/parts are available (i.e. not yet offered and accepted):

Theatre’s casting notes: “ALL ethnicities are highly encouraged to audition. Seeking a MULTI-CULTURAL cast of performers with great rock singing voices.

The Girls all sing within a range of G3 E5.

The boys all sing within a range of Ab2 - A4 with the exception of OTTO who sings from A2 - G4 and GEORG who sings up to a D5 In falsetto.

Adult Man:

(30 – 50) Multiple roles, including Herr Stiefl (Mortiz's father), Herr Gabor (Melchiors Father), and Herr Sonnenstitch (the boy's teacher)

Adult Woman:

(30 – 50) Multiple roles, including Fanny (Melchior's mother), Frau Bergman (Wendla's mother), and the teacher

Anna:

(16 – 25) A German schoolgirl and Martha's best friend. Has a difficult time understanding Martha's trials.

Ernst:

(16 – 25) A schoolmate of Melchior's. Naive, easily manipulated. Unsure.

Georg:

(16 – 25) A schoolmate of Melchoir's who is overcome with his feelings for his piano teacher.

Hanschen:

(16 – 25) A schoolmate of Melchior's who is comfortable with his own sexuality and uses his looks and intelligence to manipulate another student. Baritenor

Ilse:

(16 – 25) Martha's sister, who shares her dark secret and has run away from home to live in an artists' colony. Moritz's last hope.

Martha:

(16 – 25) A schoolgirl with a life-changing secret.

Melchior:

(16 – 25) A smart, headstrong boy who refuses to bow down to society's rules. An atheist. Struggles with his intense feelings for Wendla.

Moritz:

(16 – 25) A troubled student who desperately tries to please his father, but always seems to disappoint him. Has haunting dreams. Melchior's best friend. Tenor

Otto:

(16 – 25) A classmate of Melchior's who struggles with feelings he considers inappropriate. Baritenor

Thea:

(16 – 25) Wendla's best friend. A schoolgirl who tries to stay innocent and pure.

Wendla:

(16 – 25) Innocent, but with every passing day, she grows more curious about the world around her. Both vulnerable and a willing participant in her evolution.
