Rehearsal Schedule: Musicals Tonight shows rehearse for only two weeks prior to opening. NO PERFORMER is called to every rehearsal. There is not one day per week when every performer is off BUT every performer gets at least one day off per week. There is a mix of day time and night time rehearsals which hopefully accommodate most actors’ survival jobs. The Sunday before opening and the Monday before opening are MANDATORY rehearsals Performances: Each production runs two weeks – 16 performances in total (Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat @ 7:30; Wed, FRI, Sun @ 2:00)

Blossom Hart - (20s-30s) one of three cousins who don’t know each other and find they share ownership in a ramshackle piece of property near an Army base in Texas. She’s a “Rosie the Riveter” type - Broadway high Belter (Ethel Merman)
Staff Sgt. Rocky Fulton - (20s-30s) Leader of a big time (Army) band (and Blossom’s love interest) think good-looking civilian band-leaders of the 1940s - tenor or baritenor
Chiquita Hart - (20s-30s) An “exotic dancer” type – belter (Paula Lawrence)
Harry Hart - (any age) A con artist type (snake oil salesman) – baritone (can be character)
Mr. Tobias Twitch - (any age) very thin and dusty (Royal Dano) – a squatter on the Hart property who “ain’t leavin’” - character baritone
Lt. Col S.D. Grubbs – (40s) blustery tough-cookie wanna be
Mrs. Grubbs – (40s) long-suffering Army wife
Betty-Jean - (20s-30s) Southern, Army band groupie not very bright - mix legit
Mary-Frances – (20s-30s) also Southern and a band groupie spunky younger mix
Melanie Walker – (20s-30s) Rocky’s “sophisticated” girl friend who butts in everywhere and is resented by all the “regular” women
Sgt. Laddie Green - (20s-30s) Rocky’s side-kick
Roger Calhoun - (any age) Very proper inheritance lawyer (Marvin Miller – The Millionaire)
Male Ensemble - Sgt. Carter; Corp. Burns and a variety of Army men
Female Ensemble - Lois; Lucille; Micheala and a variety of Army wives
