For all roles other than Annie, sides will be provided at the audition. Those auditioning as possible (emergency) replacements for Annie should prepare a contemporary monologue, 2 minutes or less.

Seeking (all roles are available unless otherwise specified):

Milton Saltzman:

Caucasian, 70s. Holocaust survivor, crusading to have the atrocity of soap included in Holocaust museums and memorials. Intelligent and passionate, despite everything. Seeking an actor with excellent language skills and the capacity to carry a show.

Esther Feinman / Brenda Goodsen / Others:

Multi-character track for one actress. Roles are Caucasian women, 40s-50s. Track consists of a variety of roles including Esther Feinman (American Holocaust scholar) and Brenda Goodsen (British Holocaust denier). Requires an actress who is strong in creating different characters.

Daniel Silver / Colonel Smirnov / Others:

Multi-character track for one actor. Roles are Caucasian men, 30s-50s. Track consists of a variety of roles including a Stand-Up Comedian, Daniel Silver (Holocaust scholar) and Colonel Smirnov (Russian prosecutor at the Nuremburg Trials. Requires an actor who is strong creating different characters.

Annie:

CAST. Auditioning performers will be considered as possible (emergency) replacements, should any become necessary. Caucasian, 20s. Young journalist writing an article about the atrocities of soap. Role for an actress with strong storytelling skills.
