Note: SLEEPING BEAUTY WAKES is a new musical by Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda (Striking 12). All of the performers in this company are principals. They must all be great pop/rock singers with serious range, great musicianship and an ability to hold very tight harmonies and blend extremely well. All performers must have great comic timing and a terrific sense of fun. Every person in the show is idiosyncratic, eccentric and unique. And tired.

Orderly:
late 20s - mid 30s. Any ethnicity. A young man of generosity, humor and a dormant sexuality. He is a catapletic/narcoleptic who has began as a patient and is working in the clinic in exchange for his treatment. He has a social conscience and a goofy side, he is educated though not obviously so. He has worked at a number of jobs, including driving trucks for farming collectives until his condition made it dangerous. Should be charming, attractive charismatic, very male and very appealing.
