Note: Sleeping Beauty Wakes is a new musical by Brendan Milburn and Valerie Vigoda (striking 12). All of the performers in this company are principals. They must all be great pop/rock singers with serious range, great musicianship and an ability to hold very tight harmonies and blend extremely well. All performers must have great comic timing and a terrific sense of fun. Every person in the show is idiosyncratic, eccentric and unique. And tired.

Beauty:
(18+ to play late teens) FEMALE. Innocent and hungry, sheltered and protected. Like any teenager – she is rebellious and confused. She yearns for the freedom to express herself – even in anger. In spite of all this, she loves her parents and never intends to hurt them. Charismatic, appealing and attractive – not necessarily a classic beauty. Good sense of humor and the absurd. Great pop/rock voice with an F# below the staff to a belt/mix belt an E natural or F. ANY ETHNICITY.
