OPTION 2: A cut of one of the songs provided here with accompaniment track: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10PzFqNCvAWzOwzP-Obc9D_TnIeqMlB2w
JERSEY BOYS:
Franki Valli: 20-30s. Charismatic and charming with both a gritty side as well as a polished veneer. 5’9” or shorter; has a strong tenor with sweet strong falsetto. Sings in the style of Frankie Valli; high Bb plus strong falsetto up to treble G. Very comfortable with four-part harmonies.
Tommy Devito: 20-30s. A natural-born leader with an appealing, bad-boy quality. Strong Bari-tenor voice. Very comfortable with four-part harmonies.
Bob Gaudio: 20-30s. An intelligent, sensitive, and introspective musical prodigy. Tall with a strong baritenor voice. Very comfortable with four-part harmonies.
Bob Crewe: 30-40. Intelligent and flamboyant; genius music producer and lyricist: an integral part of creating the magic of The Four Seasons.
Gyp Decarlo: 40s. Tough, Mafioso type; a strong singer.
Bob Crewe: Any ethnicity. Intelligent and flamboyant; genius music producer and lyricist; an integral part of creating the magic of The Four Seasons.
Mary Delgado: Any ethnicity. Strong singer and dancer; Frankie’s wife; tough, seen it all, Italian, Jersey girl; she’s got a killer sense of humor; a variety of other roles, including member of a 60s style girl group; strong belt useful; high straight tone soprano also useful but not required.
Ensemble: A variety of roles.
CINDERELLA:
Ella (CINDERELLA): a young lady with the kindest heart in the kingdom. She dreams of escaping her endless chores so she might one day see the world. Clean, legit musical theatre singing. Beautiful voice in all ranges, with a young, soprano-ish quality throughout.
Prince Topher: Prince of the entire kingdom, but he needs a bit of guidance and inspiration to realize his full potential. Clean, legit musical theatre singing. Tenor/baritenor.
Marie: Enters the story as a senile poor woman, but she magically transforms into her true form as Ella’s wise and compassionate Fairy Godmother. Beautiful musical theatre dramatic soprano.
GABRIELLE: Begins the story as just another selfish stepsister but finds camaraderie in Ella when she reveals to Ella that she would give up her riches to be with Jean-Michel.
CHARLOTTE: Ella’s other stepsister, who treats Ella cruelly but, quite honestly, doesn’t know much better because she is so self-involved. Charlotte’s a bit of a clown and definitely the last one in on the joke.
JEAN-MICHEL: A poor revolutionary with many ideas about how to improve society. Jean- Michel is in love with Gabrielle.
MADAME: Ella’s stepmother, a vain and tyrannical woman only concerned with her wealth and her daughters’ happiness. Madame does not consider Ella, her stepdaughter, a true daughter.
Sebastian: Topher’s Lord Chancellor. Although Sebastian wants to protect the Prince, he does so by improperly shielding the Prince completely from what is going on in the kingdom.
Lord Pinkleton: Sebastian’s second-in- command and the herald for all important events.
Ensemble: A variety of roles.
DESPERATE MEASURES:
Johnny Blood: A hot-headed young cowboy, tenor with a solid G, optional B.
Father Morse: Franciscan priest, Irish, baritone.
Sheriff Martin Green: A baritone up to an F.
Susanna aka Sister Mary Jo: A novice nun and Johnny’s sister, legit musical theatre soprano.
Governor von Richterhenkenpflichtgetruber: German, baritone with low A.
Bella Rose: A saloon girl in love with Johnny, high belter.
Ensemble: Cowboys, saloon girls, government clerks, and nuns.
