CONTRACT

SPT $404/week (contract pending)

SEEKING

Due to the pandemic and in place of live Equity auditions, MTC is currently accepting video submissions only for RFK. Accepting submissions September 10 - September 21 (deadline).

RFK is a one-man tour de force which chronicles the life of Robert Kennedy from 1964-1968. Seeking extremely strong Equity actor who somewhat resembles Kennedy.

Minorities are STRONGLY encouraged to submit, as are Connecticut and Westchester actors.

INSTRUCTIONS

Please prepare a monologue in the style of the show. Please slate your name and the name of your audition piece. Also please include picture & resume attached to email. All submissions should be sent to admin@musictheatreofct.com. Please submit videos in mp4 or dropbox/google link formats.

Reviewing submissions will be Kevin Connors (director), Jim Schilling (MTC Managing Director) and Alex Mongillo (Administrative Manager)

OTHER DATES

RFK will rehearse in person October 13 - October 22, 2020 at the Music Theatre of Connecticut. MTC will meet and exceed all requirements and be in full compliance for reopening with all AEA and State of Connecticut. Production will be performed live on Friday - Sunday schedule with a small, limited live audience and an approved closed stream for each performance.

Music Theatre of Connecticut, currently begnning its 34th season, is located in a beautiful theatre center in Norwalk, CT. The company has won numerous "Best" awards both BroadwayWorld and Connecticut Crtitics' Circle Awards, including the prestigious Killen Award for Outstanding Contribution to Professional Theatre, joining Long Wharf, Hartford Stage and the Westport Playhouse.
