Appears mid - late 20s, any ethnicity. Filmmaker. Baritone/second tenor.
Roger Davis:
Appears early - mid 20s, any ethnicity. Tortured artist. Recovering drug addict. Rock tenor. Guitar a plus.
Tom Collins:
Appears late 20s - 30s, any ethnicity. Philosopher, professor, activist. Baritone. Must be able to move well.
Benny:
Appears mid - late 20s, any ethnicity. Went to college with Mark. Baritone/second tenor.
Angel:
Male, appears late teens – mid 20s, any ethnicity. Living with AIDS. High tenor with great falsetto. Performer must be able to convincingly play in drag, dance in heels.
Mimi Marquez:
Character is age 19, any ethnicity. Fragile drug addict. Raw voice with high belt. Performer must dance well.
Maureen Johnson:
Appears mid - late 20s, any ethnicity. Performance artist. Moves and sings well – big range.
Joanne Jefferson:
Appears late 20s - 30s, any ethnicity. Harvard grad, lawyer. Pop belt.
Ensemble (M/F):
Character age-range: 20s-30s. Seeking great actors/singers who move well to portray various characters including: Alexi Darling, Mark’s Mom, Roger’s Mom, Joanne’s Mom, Seasons of Love Soloist, Joanne’s Dad, Life Support Group, Squeegee Man and more.
