Seeking:
Roger Davis:
an aspiring musician and songwriter whose recent past has compromised these aspirations. He's a solid, sensitive, attractive guy who's also being consumed with pain and anger. It's a plus if the actor plays guitar. Needs a killer, gritty rock high baritone to tenor voice.
Mark Cohen:
a young filmmaker, rejects the commercial for the independent. Smart, loyal, likable but his friends find him remote, the ultimate watcher. We find must him personable, since he is our guide through the story. Good high baritone to tenor.
Benjamin Coffin III:
African-American. Energetic, confident, bright, charismatic. His recent "advantageous" marriage has transformed him into a young urban entrepreneur, whose business acumen will make life better for everyone. His friends think he's a sell out and, therefore, their antagonist. Baritone
Joanne Jefferson:
African-American. Strong-willed, formidable, stubborn, topnotch attorney with one vulnerability--her girl friend Maureen. Big belt.
Angel:
Latino, a sweet, compassionate guy who completely excels as a drag queen. He's also street smart and battling aids. He is the true heart of the group. Tenor
Mimi Marquez:
Latina, hot, sexy, full of life and passion. She's also a junkie who is being consumed by aids. Since time is not on her side, she lives every day as fully as she can. Big belt
Maureen Johnson:
a performance, artist, outrageous and likes it that way; self-possessed with a weakness for infidelity. Ultimately, she's capable of coming through when things seem darkest. Big belt.
Tom Collins:
African-American, described as a "computer genius, teacher, vagabond anarchist". A man of strong convictions, a rock-solid guy. Soulful baritone.
