Set in 1950s New York City, Palladium tells the story of the iconic nightclub that became the birthplace of the mambo craze—and an unlikely hub for racial integration. Centered on Federico “Rico” Pagani, the club’s visionary promoter, the musical follows a group of young regulars whose love of music and dance challenges the social barriers of race, class, and religion. Against a vibrant score featuring mambo, doo-wop, and jazz, Palladium celebrates a moment when the dance floor became a radical space of freedom, connection, and change.
